I recently stayed at The Yellow Capsule Experience in Downtown Cancun and had a surprisingly pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The capsules may be a bit basic, but they are surprisingly comfortable, with nice cool AC and a peaceful atmosphere. The highlight for me was having access to a nearby Anytime Fitness for only 200 pesos a day - perfect for keeping up with my yoga practice. The location within La Roca shopping mall was convenient, with plenty of dining options and entertainment nearby. The hotel offers a comfortable and safe shuttle service to and from the airport, which was very convenient. Despite being on a budget, I felt safe and cozy in my capsule, enjoying a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious and energizing, setting me up for a day of exploring the Riviera Maya.The Yellow Capsule is a great choice for solo travelers on a budget, offering a unique experience in the heart of Cancun. I would recommend it for a short stay, especially if you're looking to explore the area without breaking the bank. Huevos Rancheros for breakfast, anyone?
